    Lee Iaccoca dies at 94

I held him in very high regard and read all of his books. He made a few missteps---but he was never standing still--he kept on stepping

From his Obituary in today's WSJ:
“Everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say ‘Stay the course,’” he wrote in reference to remarks by President George W. Bush on his Iraq policy. “Stay the course? You’ve got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned Titanic. I’ll give you a sound bite: Throw the bums out!”
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty” ---Sir Winston Churchill
"Political extremism involves two prime ingredients: an excessively simple diagnosis of the world's ills, and a conviction that there are identifiable villains back of it all." ---John W. Gardner
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” ---C. S. Lewis

Should pick a set time and honk the horn of every Mustang in existence.

Smart man, I often wondered if he'd make a good politician.
