    Clams, Clams, Clams

I am not sure if clams are widely available, if not I am sorry for anyone not in clam country.

Last nights dinner was a "bucket" of Little Neck (defines the size) clams from the mouth of the Chesapeake. Steamed and then dipped in butter. My wife and I shared 5 Doz, combined with lobster mac and cheese, and sliced tomatoes.

Tonight we will crown a week of seafood with Maryland Crab Cakes, and deviled clams with the rest of the mac and cheese

Love clams , oysters and muscles but am afraid of them. Sometimes I can eat them and be fine but sometimes I have a negative reaction to them so I've stayed away from them for most of my life.....

Soft Shell Crabs put me in the hospital over night once. All other sea food is fine.

I could be unnecessarily exaggerating, but it is my impression that what was once a small reaction is a clue to what can later be a massive, even life-threatening, reaction.

I don't blame you. I'm just grateful that I don't have to make that decision.

I've never heard of a watermelon allergy before.

My wife is sensitive to watermelon, pecans and a few other things. Raw onion doubles her over and two of her children are the same. Allergy/sensitivity to shell fish is fairly common and be quite dangerously intense in the category of same with peanuts.
