Anecdotes do not make a majority. Military in parades is a long and honored tradition in our country.

And how many of those parades had the tickets handed out by the RNP----this is not a parade this is a political rally at public expense.

I’m sure you are invited to join the rest of your fellow Resistance marchers behind their classy balloon of The Donald tweeting on a commode in protest of how crude T is. No ticket required.

Isn't the last year of any presidential term nothing but a political rally at our expense?

They are starting early--in fact trump has been doing that since the inauguration---lying about the size of the crowd

The Mall was full and Trump talked about America. If you find that to be a bad thing, maybe you should take some time to think about what makes our
Country a place that it seams everyone else wants to come to.

The Military has been present at independence day celebrations for as long as I can remember. This was a celebration of America and I thought it was a good thing.

From my papers it seems trump played nice, read his speech and stayed away from his more normal line of crap. Good for him

Yes, it appears Trump acted presidentially - which is timely.

Much better than I expected, but was he reading from the teleprompter, or was he ad-libbing when he said this:

"Our Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over airports, it did everything it had to do and at Ft. McHenry under the rocket's red glare had nothing but victory."
I'm not being critical, I think it is a hilarious gaffe!

Reading the transcripts of his speeches is a sad hoot. If he were half as smart as he claims, you think he could construct a simple grammatically correct sentence--on occasion!

Joe I have to respect you dogged pursuit of this conversation but it is approaching the old saying about the lawyer that had to ask one more question. Some things are just not worth it. Especially when it is clear that the antagonist is getting a big kick and giggle out of it.
