    29 years ago today...

Phoenix set a heat record.... Highest temp every recorded... 122*

So hot the planes could not take off at Sky Harbor due to thrust calculations not exceeding 120*.

It was a non event for me since I was laid up on the couch recovering from a dirt bike get off that fractured my pelvis....

Today 104*.. so much for global warming

I forgot how hot it is down here. 90 in cottonwood right now.

I ran short of fingers and had to go to toes, but by my calculations I was there.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

Born and raised here. My mom insists on a family get together of some kind every year and I have relatives from back east in town. Generally there is an incident where an adult cries. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.
