Back in my single and stupid days, I spotted a beautiful similar but smaller 60’ single mast boat moored in a marina near the coast on Clear Lake within commuter distance to work in Houston. I was so taken with thoughts of living the good life on the boat that I almost bought it until a bright flash of light caught me and I realized I did not know a damned thing about boats other than I hated maintaining the ones I had owned before. One of the best decisions I ever made was running the other way.

My BIL had a sign about boats in his house. It read...

"A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into."

    He may have been right.

BOAT = Break Out Another Thousand.

The only thing that works on an old boat is the owner.
