GMC HD pickups get make over for 2020

Sorry Ben but I think GMC has the best looking trucks on the road. These new ones for 2020 are over the top. The towing capacities are beyond large.

No need to apologize to me, Tom, I think all the domestic HD trucks took a turn for the better in the looks department...But they're all priced far above what I'd pay for a new one...And yet only one still has an engine that's designed and built for medium duty commercial use, the now 35 year old Cummins "B" engine...But it's a moot point to me; my mighty ten year old Dodge/Cummins still gets me from point "A" to point "B"...Name: cbadge.gif

Now imagine it without the sissy gold wheels, and with GM's 2.8L inline four turbodiesel and a manual transmission (Utah will be along to tell us about that engine)......Ben

It is just a Camero with an ugly-ass front end.

I guess I can be just as odd, I like it a lot better than the current front end on the Camaro...I think Chevrolet ruined the looks with the new nose...As for the wheels I think it would look good with an updated version of the old steel rally wheels; those were my favorites back in the day...

If some of you guys don't like the GMC snout, ther's a a company that will turn one into a 455 CI Trans Am for you, complete with shaker hood and 1,000 HP...Hey Bandit!......Ben...

Ben is right, there's that Utah guy now...

I love my 2.8 liter Duramax diesel Colorado Z71. I bought it for the MPG, and it delivers.

Wifey and I drive it between our houses in SLC and Las Vegas. We fill It up with diesel in SLC, drive it to Las Vegas, and then fill it up a second time in Cedar City on the way home. Keeping the cruise control at 80 MPG, it gets 31 MPG - and 682 miles per 22 gallon tank. And, that's in real-world math, simply dividing miles by gallons of fuel used. The thing has little HP (about 160) but major torque (about 360 ft lbs). It does not downshift, even on the steepest canyons.

Speaking of four cylinder engines, what ever happened to Offenhauser and did anyone ever put one in a road vehicle?

Joe did it - caused me to learn something today. I looked up "Offenhauser" on Wikipedia, the results were interesting and amazing. Some of these amazing little engines make 1,000 horsepower.
