    word usage

After reading the latest [ news reports ] on Sarah Sanders remarks about the FBI, I have a question.

Why do the “ reporters ? ‘ insist that Republicans or Conservatives “ LIE “ but, democrats just mis-speak ?.

They all lie---just some more than others---it seems we are at a high water mark at the moment

As for Sarah, she should get a pass since she is working for possibly the biggest liar the White House has ever had to accommodate---what would anyone really expect?

It is not just politicians. Look at a recent example — the Mueller Report was as unequivocal as possible in its conclusions about Trump/Russia collusion on its very first page saying, "The Mueller investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or co-ordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities," and even went as far as possible saying it “found no evidence that any American conspired or co-ordinated with the Russian government,” yet we find droves of the usual suspects (some right here) willing to tell you that it said no such thing. That is a lie because they cannot not know its is a prevarication.

Not sure who "some right here" are but to focus only on the lack of a direct Russian connection and ignore the revealing details of a sick culture in the White House and a "leader" prone to issuing illegal orders which are then routinely ignored---and apparently forgotten about by trump is no less curious.

You are focusing on the optics instead of the essence, Dave. President Trump was absolved of the hoax that he directed a conspiracy with the Russians to influence the election in his favor.

When Mueller installs 17 Democrat donating attack dogs giving them unlimited funds, 2800 subpoenas, 500 witnesses, rank powers to threaten/extort & 675 days to track down any possible wrong-doing by Trump, and they come up butkus, I take that as an exoneration. The FBI even went so far as to infiltrate paid spies into the Trump campaign and got zilch.

How humiliating and infuriating that must be for the Hate Trump Mueller team? So mortifyingly demeaning that they had to concoct an entire second section trying to pin some wrong-doing on someone they just had to exonerate from the prime offense they spent all that time and expense trying to implicate in a crime which never existed from day one. Something had to be hatched to explain why the guy castigating them on their hoax on a daily basis was wrong and criminal at the same time, hence the “obstruction” of their operation which went forward without a single incidence of obstruction to which they can point.

I have to ask how much of that "indictment" any of you actually read. trump's outrage on tweeter isn't because it was a good day for him. Maybe some time sent in first person reading instead of your normal rabid right fake news might make you rethink this whole thing. Possibly more than being mad (because there is little new trumpisms in the revelations) I am embarrassed that we have the head of our government acting in the way he does---now for the entire world to see.

No one cares what “embarrasses,” Dave. That is a subjective standard. Hillary, Bill & zer’O we’re walking, talking embarrassments to me and many others.
People do care if the president is a traitor. The findings definitely show Trump was not a traitor as alleged.

Had he been allowed he would have stomped on the Constitution (and still would)---that qualifies as a traitor in my book.

What part of the Constitution would he have stomped upon?

I totally agree but that still has nothing to do with Russian colusion. Your homophobic posts towards Trump have noth ing to do with Russia either but you and the rest will stop at nothing to get Trump for something.

The next episode will be Trump’s tax returns, if they ever get their hands on them. It has been said his returns are ~600 pages each, which sounds about right. That’s 6000 pages of numbers for the past 10 years that the D’rats demand. I imagine about 5500 pages of those are deductions for business expenses, which the green eye-shade boys would be pouring through and then the “ahaa’s” will be copious and the populace will be inundated with minutia of questionable deductions for refrigerators costs and the like he claims he put in apartments and such. I can’t wait.
