    kind of off the wall Tacos

    I had a burr up my butt to experiment with something different and so.....

    Barbacoa Tacos, with diced Chipotle peppers, queso, red onion, pico de gallo, lettuce, brown rice, mole sauce, on corn tortillas. Very tasty

    Not a fan of Sh!tpoopley but other than that we do street tacos often around here.

    These are not in competition with TriGuy’s creation, but a tip here for street tacos which are fine and super easy — Costco has a box of brisket street tacos in the freezer section often here. Packaged in twos, they are ready in 2 minutes in the micronuker. Put some cheese or queso and salsa on them and - bingo - you got a meal.

    ========================

    Not exactly sure what “sh!tpoopley” is, but if it refers to barbacoa (slow-cooked cow face), I am with you since an outfit in Austin reportedly poisoned a whole neighborhood serving the contaminated stuff there. Killed about 20 as I remember. Cooking meat slowly in a pit in the ground the traditional way can be a bit dicey.

    I'm not a fan of Chipotle peppers.. Never cared for the taste... “sh!tpoopley” is what I call the restaurants since they continuously give people the Montezumas revenge .

    Well, you boys did it - these posts led me to make up a bunch of tacos. I grilled up some fresh meat from a cow we had slaughtered. That, along with some cheese and a generous application of Busha Browne's hot sauce, made the effort worthwhile.
