The Democrat candidate I most fear for 2020 is the counterfeit Mexican, Beto O'Rourke. For some reason this charismatic guy seems to capture the attention of even the most reasonable folks. If he were a television evangelist he would make millions. Unfortunately, he is a Democrat candidate for President.

O’Rourke’s spooky background is catching up to him. A Reuters article says it uncovered that he was a secret member of an infamous hacking group known as “Cult Of The Dead Cow,” and went by the pseudonym “psychedelic warlord in which he authored articles fantasizing about killing children. We know without question he was a member of a cross-dressing rock band (there are pictures), but this is a step beyond.

More information on O’Rourke’s views are best informed from his own mouth —

It has now been revealed that Reuters and its reporter in the article detailing O’Rourke’s participation in organized hacking (#8 above) was withheld from publication during the O’Rourke/Cruz senate race in order to boost O’Rourke’s chances in that race. Reuters thus admits actively becoming a political advocate.

While I find his history more than a bit troubling I wanted to read it from it's original source rather than digested and reconstructed by some source with their own agenda.
The original source of the story might be able to construct some forgiveness for Menn (but what else would one expect) but it offers little opportunity to do the same for O'Rourke.
While I do not like the low art of muckraking, I also want my government officials to reflect my own standards.
Seems that this one is off the list.
I will point out that the left has no lock on the other art presented here of "catch and kill".

Who is the arbiter of agenda's? Who makes the decisions as to what is an agenda and what is not? Who makes the decision as to what is credible and what is not? The answer is the reader not someone who self appoints themself as ombudsman of what is or is not credible.

He was cDc... A Windows Script Kiddie... And he has a DUI mug shot, wrote creepy abuse stories, has a billionaire father-in-law, etc... He may be angling for a VP slot, but I doubt even this. He's too easy to target.
I suspect he wants to build a war chest, then drop out early and make a play for Cornyn's Senate seat, using the funds raised mostly outside Texas.
