Numerous background documents intricately related to the Russian election probe had been requested in 2018 by Congress to be declassified and released by various government agencies holding them. President Trump, who has authority to do so and was so inclined, was successfully dissuaded from releasing them by an appeal from Deputy DOJ, Rod Rosenstein, because such release might impinge the Special Counsel’s investigation somehow by some unexplained manner.
Now, the investigation being officially kaput, finite, over, and no longer in jeopardy of being negatively impacted, it is way past time that these vital documents be made public.

You may be seriously tired of this entire episode, but I assure you others (including me) are not, as many consider this attempt to usurp the authority of a duly elected president and thwart his administration of the executive by lying, cheating and scheming is public criminal activity of the first kind and must be ferreted out. We have to know the facts in all its brutal details starting with the written documents that initiated and propelled it.
