    Back to the hospital tomorrow

I am finally going to have the Watchman inserted in my heart. If all goes well, I will be out of the hospital on Wednesday and back to work next week. Then in about 45 days I will be able to stop with the blood thinners and return to my normal diet---which currently is void of leafy greens--and even asparagus.

The biggest advantage is that I will not be in danger of another hemorrhage event

Interesting, Dave...Watchman might have been something my Mom could have used, but it didn't exist when she was diagnosed...She took some ridiculously high-priced blood thinner in her later years, but had a heart murmur all her life...I'm sure you'll have a lot more peace of mind after you recover......Ben
