    Toyota Tundra Diesel?

I was stopped in the pharmacy drive thru next to a Toyota Tundra pickup. All at once, I noticed it sounded like a Diesel engine running! Having never heard of a Tundra Diesel, I noted the badging that indicated it was a 5.7 liter engine. That's a gasser. After coming home, I Googled the truck and see there is supposed to be a Diesel Tundra released later this year for sale next year. Hmmmm...... I wonder if this was a test vehicle disguised as a gasser? It sure sounded like a Diesel.

Well I guess it's possible it could have been a test unit since they're assembled in San Antonio. That's not too far from you really.

I saw this but I can't vouch for the credibility of the article.
