What Does It Take To “Prove The Negative?”

As the Mueller rectal exam of Trump comes to a close the old logic axiom that one can never prove the negative is possibly about to be tested. Could it be that after years of testing, investigating and digging of teams with no bounds of authority and funds no viable evidence can be found substantiating the Democrats’ hypothesis that Donald Trump’s campaign team, possibly even the candidate himself, colluded with the Kremlin to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election? What if a dedicated team picked meticulously from the most zealous of Democrat/Hillary supporters have been unable to find anything more meaningfully connecting Trump with Russia and the campaign than process crimes talking to the FBI? What if they went so far as to scheme up bogus reasons to tap into the campaign using the unlimited search powers of the FISA court and came up empty? What if they set their paid spies into the campaign and still had nothing to show for it?

Would such failure prove the negative after best efforts came up with zip, or in the alternative, as Schiff and his D’rat colleagues are saying, should the investigations go on until the day Trump leaves office and possibly longer?

If you believe this giant conspiracy could have happened, do you believe Trump is smart enough to conceal it from the unfettered rabid dogs trying to disclose it?

I believe that federal agencies and federal court for that matter when they become partisan are capable of anything. And yes I clearly think Obama knew what was going on in the justice department and the FBI.

Knew, hell, he ordered it in a documented meeting in the White House with “Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, VP Joe Biden, Obama and Rice, the fifth participant in the Jan 5, 2017 meeting was none other than former FBI Director James Brien Comey Jr.,” on January 5, 2016. Obama was #1 conspirator and head of the pack.

This meeting is well-known and the above article is merely the first I brought up on a search.

I asked the key question in this thread: Was Obama behind the Trump/Russia Conspiracy hoax? Now that that hoax has been put to bed, others are zeroing (pun intended) in on the head of the operation too.

Not only that, he's also rich enough, and accustomed to manipulating others that he could find suckers gullible enough, and susceptible enough to bribery to willingly take a calculated fall for him...As Cyndi Lauper so succinctly put it, "Money changes everything"...

Paul's question putting Obama in the same light could be answered the same way...Obama, just like the Clinton's and most other politicians, became rich after entering the sleazy world of politics, and would certainly do whatever is necessary to retain wealth and power, while keeping the truth of their own actions hidden thereby preserving their public legacy...All those discussed heretofore also have their own backers who have gained their positions behind the smokescreen, and wish to remain so...They will back whatever side is most beneficial to them......Ben

When Mueller installs 17 Democrat donating attack dogs giving them unlimited funds, 2800 subpoenas, 500 witnesses, rank powers to threaten & 675 days to track down any possible wrong-doing by Trump, and they come up butkus, I take that as an exoneration. The FBI even went so far as to infiltrate paid spies into the Trump campaign and got zilch. That’s about as close to “proving the negative,” which is close to a logic impossibility, as it will ever get.

In many other cases - I'd agree with you. Regarding Trump - no.

Trump has the money, the power, and the connections to ensure his finger prints are not all over past indiscretions.

Trump is an open book. That is why so many people hate him. Can he be both a bull-in-the-china shop, bumbling, arrogant idiot and a master criminal deciever at the same time? I think not, plus such a conspiracy would necessarily incorporate numbers of other people and instrumentalities that Mueller’s mad dogs could not possibly miss in their anal exam.

Waco you can give it up. Those who follow the agenda of the left and utterly hate the air the President breathes will NEVER give an inch regarding Trump. I am just waiting on the next 25 investigations over the next couple of years. These folks have no shame and could care less about what this is doing to the country. They are scared sh!tless that they can't beat him fair and square in 2020 so they will stop at nothing. Hell look what they did to try and keep him out of office, nothing short of a vast conspiracy at the highest levels of the DOJ and FBI who were puppets for the Clinton campaign.

There are a hundred kids in Cali with more money than Trump has ever seen. Mueller had the backing of the entire government to find the "truth" Money IMO played no role either way. Murder, more than one and knowledge of it would be the only thing that would scare anybody enough to supposedly keep the truth untold by "

The article below is a good summary of information disclosed this week bringing us up to date and putting in context the January 5, 2017 White House meetings I pointed out above in #4 in which Barack Obama personally directed the plot to invent the Trump/Russia Collusion tale, which hamstrung his successor for years and still lingers on in the minds of the gullible.
