    2020 Election

    I predict a huge backlash in 2020 against the clowns in Washington. Republicans and democrats alike, but the republicans will take the greatest hit due to Trump's juvenile behavior. It should be the perfect time for a third party (which we need badly) to put forth some viable candidates on the national scale. I plan to cast my votes for new blood. I am sick of the status quo.

    Give them a name Mike, looks like there's a heard running to beat Trump, so maybe a third party would throw some giggles in this mess.

    I currently have no names, Billy. I just hope there are good alternatives so the democrats don't win the whole kit and caboodle. That would be a bigger disaster than we have now.

    My fear is that you are correct in your thought of a backlash---and we end up with a Bernie Sanders clone (or is it clown) in the White House---the thought scares the hell out of me.

    I could support (again) John Kasich for President.

    Perhaps ex-CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, is your guy, Mike. He announced an independent run yesterday and has lots of his own cash with which to work. Apparently, his main thrust is attacking the debt we are racking up. On other issues he is known as reekingly liberal.

    Sorry, Joe. Schultz won't work for me. His association with Starbucks is a deal killer.

    Not enough minority status to run as D’rat. Oddly, feminine is still considered “minority” in those circles and climbing to the top on your back is not considered a disqualifier as Kamala Harris is proving.

    Here is what our renowned leader had to say about Mr Schuoltz:
    Donald J. Trump

    @realDonaldTrump

    Howard Schultz doesn’t have the “guts” to run for President! Watched him on @60Minutes last night and I agree with him that he is not the “smartest person.” Besides, America already has that! I only hope that Starbucks is still paying me their rent in Trump Tower!

    Always a classless act

    Obviously wants him in as a 3rd-party attraction and choice for predominately D’rat voters. Hope he takes the challenge. It was precisely such a diss that pushed Trump over the edge when Pres. zer’O used his stage with Trump present at the giant press gathering to challenge Trump to run. Trump took the bait, and look what happened. So, in many respects Obama is directly responsible for President Trump.
