    2020 Election

I predict a huge backlash in 2020 against the clowns in Washington. Republicans and democrats alike, but the republicans will take the greatest hit due to Trump's juvenile behavior. It should be the perfect time for a third party (which we need badly) to put forth some viable candidates on the national scale. I plan to cast my votes for new blood. I am sick of the status quo.

Give them a name Mike, looks like there's a heard running to beat Trump, so maybe a third party would throw some giggles in this mess.

I currently have no names, Billy. I just hope there are good alternatives so the democrats don't win the whole kit and caboodle. That would be a bigger disaster than we have now.

My fear is that you are correct in your thought of a backlash---and we end up with a Bernie Sanders clone (or is it clown) in the White House---the thought scares the hell out of me.

I could support (again) John Kasich for President.

Perhaps ex-CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, is your guy, Mike. He announced an independent run yesterday and has lots of his own cash with which to work. Apparently, his main thrust is attacking the debt we are racking up. On other issues he is known as reekingly liberal.

Such as the open letter several years ago in which the official Starbucks position was stated that those who are legally licensed to carry handguns are not welcome on Starbucks property...I have not darkened the doorway of a Starbucks since......Ben

Sorry, Joe. Schultz won't work for me. His association with Starbucks is a deal killer.
