Is that another man near the top in the stitched photo?...If so, the proportions are different to the man at the bottom...Assuming six foot height on the humans, somehow the relative dimensions between man and tree seem wrong...Still a hell of a tree...

I wasn't sure either so I blew that up 4x and it is not a man but a near vertical branch. The "line" out of the top on the photos I believe is a lighting rod.

Wow I would love to have the health stamina and Terrain to experience the things you do it's truly inspiring. I think I'm going to start eating smoked salmon and tofu and exercising a bit more and then maybe get you to show me a walk and some of the beautiful areas that you go to. I'm truly inspired.

I was wondering about that. Good thinking on the part of the Forest Service. I first guessed it was a cable from a helicopter used to lower the fellow at the top of the tree.
