WASHINGTON—Michael Cohen, a former lawyer for President Trump, on Wednesday moved to postpone his scheduled testimony before the House Oversight Committee, citing attacks by the president on his family.
Lanny Davis, a spokesman for Mr. Cohen, said in a statement that the testimony would be postponed “due to ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen’s continued cooperation with ongoing investigations, by advice of counsel.” Rudy Giuliani is one of Mr. Trump’s lawyers.
“This is a time where Mr. Cohen had to put his family and their safety first,” Mr. Davis said, adding that Mr. Cohen would testify at a “later date.”
A cheap reality show would be a perfect description of trump's entire tenure on PA Ave.
