    Food for thought

"Political extremism involves two prime ingredients: an excessively simple diagnosis of the world's ills, and a conviction that there are identifiable villains back of it all." ---John W. Gardner

Boy am I glad we didn't get Hilliary then. We would have been in real trouble, AMericans left to die in foreign countries, escaping rape charges and protecting the criminal, not to mention making bazillions off of taxpayer property.

I am much more worried about our current leadership rather than the leadership we might have (but don't have).

What worries me is that he was our best choice.

It's so sad that innuendo has overtaken reason

Folks I am going to leave this right here for you to contemplate. Mgrist made a very valid point, the candidates we had to choose from were the best we have? I think not, they are the ones who decided to put their family and friends through the BS campaign and election. We have many great leaders but they have better sense than to be run through the wringer, have their names dragged through the mud and have at least half of the people hate them and their family. Until we the voters gather our wits and quit putting up with lying half truths coming from the media and demand the truth of what the good and bad points are of each candidate, comparing their track records to what they have promised, we will never get out from under this bunch of crap we call politics.

I might also add, the politicians of today, the ones who have been in govt for decades, are the problem. They have caused ALL of the problems we have and do not let them blame it on anybody but the trash they have made. I think it is going to be interesting with these new "socialist" style candidates, they just do not realize how the old guard, the Pelosis, Mcconnells, Schumers, McCains, and many others, the damage they have done to our Country with their stupid games.

We the people will not ever win, if we continue to let the politicians play us against each other. They have to make us fight so they can continue their poor excuse for governing. If we ever consolidate and start holding their feet to the fire, they will be leaving their jobs so fast we will have to look for good people to step in. You keep posting garbage like what so and so SUPPOSEDLY did, just like the Kavanaugh circus, we will be stuck with this trash pile.

I cant get anything to work as far as quote-bold-italics- and such.

We have to figure out a way to hold the politicians accountable. We can not beat them at their game, they make the rules.
