    Seems Jr's testimony doesn't jive with Cohen's. Oh wait, Trump himself now's saying stuff about 2016. That seems to back Cohen and not Jr's. Throwing Jr under the bus. Guess people are expendable in the Trump organization.

    Trump Jr. told the Senate Judiciary Committee in September 2017 that although there had been negotiations surrounding a prospective Trump Tower in Moscow, they concluded without result "at the end" of 2014.

    "But not in 2015 or 2016?" Trump Jr. was asked.
    I don't mind that Trump fooled a lot of people to get the job, it's the little things that he lied about that are coming back to haunt him.

    You are conflating the Trumps, Fred. Junior testified he knew little about that project and “the last he heard about it was in ‘14.” Cohen’s current statement and both Trumps’ statements are not inconsistent on their face.

    For the life of me, I can’t comprehend why anyone cares about a dead nothing-project in which nothing ever happened. Only those in the throws of terminal TDS give a chitinckus and can conjure something sinister, but then to them everything Trump is sinister.

    Like I said in his other thread, they have prosecuted Cohen for lying already, are they going to rely on a confessed liars testimony in court?


    Like waco pointed out, the deal went nowhere, it was never done. So please tell me how he profited off of a deal that never happened? The whole idea of all of this nonsense firing up again is actually cracking me up. 17 months and all of these so-called charges brought up and nothing to do with Russia.

    Everyone paying attention knows of one U.S. group singularly known to have paid, colluded with and admittedly suborned Russian assistance to their benefit and to the detriment of their opponent in the 2016 election and that group was headed by Hillary Clinton, yet the prosecution team assigned to ferret out just such activity shows no sign of pursuing that evident public fact. In fact, the prosecution team is apparently concentrating all its efforts against the aggrieved party.

    From what I have read the FBI raided the home of a person connected with the Clinton Foundation and their dealings with Uranium One. I believe the article said it was the whistleblower. My my how things are a changing, no wonder the Russian tale has resurfaced, they need a major diversion and what better way to whip the crazies into a frenzy than to have a "Red" Russian resurgence. If Mueller was as adept at his job as some think he is, what Waco has just said would be at the forefront of the investigation.

    Oops, the outlet which started Fred’s scoop, NPR, has retracted and corrected its story. Seems that Donald, Jr. did testify that one Moscow Trump Tower deal washed out in 2014, which he testified about and then testified another separate deal was being discussed actively in 2016, which he also testified about.
