    We need far more of this

    I've had enough of his mouth, myself! He is rude, crude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, thoughtless and a whole string of other adjectives too lengthy to mention. His mouth is an embarrassment to our country and our citizens on a world-wide basis. I wish he would put down his phone, shut his mouth, and just do his job.

    Speaking of doing his job, I think he has done fairly well at that. Sure, he could do worse, or better, but I'll settle for what he has done so far.

    If he would just shut his mouth.....................

    No, James! We don't need another of your long encomiums about how great the man is! This thread is about his mouth, not about your particular brand of adoration. It is also not about party affiliation, that has nothing to do with it, either. It is about his New York City mouth.

    That pretty well sums it up for me as well

    BTW Billy----I have you covered

    I didn't know the meaning either:

    en·co·mi·um
    /enˈkōmēəm,inˈkōmēəm/
    nounformal
    plural noun: encomiums

    a speech or piece of writing that praises someone or something highly.
    synonyms: eulogy, panegyric, paean, accolade, tribute, testimonial;

    Trump often shoots himself in the foot. Let this rebuke from Roberts serve to wise him up...if that is a possibility! Take it from someone with a lifetime of experience that ranting against or even dissing a judge is bound to end up being counter productive even if your complaints are true & correct...especially if they are true & correct. Many judges are at least as arrogant as Trump. Best to smile and make your plans.

    The guy is incorrigible though, so expect no change.

    I see no change in the offing. You can't take the New York City out of someone like him.

    Hard to offer advice to someone who knows everything, Mike.

    "Disgraceful" That's a good word I left out of my first post.

    BTW, Dave, I did not know that word myself. I found it looking for an antonym for "diatribe". "encomiums" Do I get extra credit?

    and now Trump is railing against Roberts on Twitter

    Donald J. Trump

    @realDonaldTrump
    Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have “Obama judges,” and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country. It would be great if the 9th Circuit was indeed an “independent judiciary,” but if it is why......

    .....are so many opposing view (on Border and Safety) cases filed there, and why are a vast number of those cases overturned. Please study the numbers, they are shocking. We need protection and security - these rulings are making our country unsafe! Very dangerous and unwise!

    A sitting President should never, ever, criticize a sitting judge. Even if the judge is wrong. It is the lawyers job, in a courtroom, to challenge the judge's decision, not an elected official's job on social media.

    On the same note, I find it offensive that Chief Justice John Roberts would publicly criticize a sitting President. He should know better.
