    supports the troops

in his attacks on McCain, thinks POWS are not heros. Says strong soldiers dont get PTSD. Attacks Navy Seal commander for not finding bin laden sooner and labels him a Hillary supporter. Only world leader who couldn't attend armistice day ceremony. Had to skip wreath laying ceremony because of phone calls, doesn't send vp in his place. 2 years in office and hasn't visited troops in a foreign war zone

exactly how is he a major supporter of the military

http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/05/...ama/index.html oh the outrage was palatable

Several veterans and conservative bloggers are taking issue with President Barack Obama choosing not to attend the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Vice President Joe Biden is attending in his place.

"Arlington is a place of tremendous symbolism," said Paul Rieckhoff, founder of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.

"On Monday, it's where the eyes of our entire nation will be focused," said Rieckhoff, "and unfortunately, the president and his family won't be there to stand with us."
it wasn't good enough that they attended a ceremony at a National cemetery in Chicago, nor that they sent Biden to Arlington..

Yes - it's all too easy to readily judge a president for doing the same things we forgave in others.

Yep, we're in a bad place. The hopes of finding a peacemaker in the next election are headed to nil assuming they are not already there.

When comparing this administration’s actions toward our armed forces to the last one, I concentrate upon the past one which stripped logistical support and funding to the point of making it an ordinary necessity for scavenging parts from like equipment to make one whole piece, and the present one which significantly increased funding to replace diminished fighting capacity.

I do not put a great deal of stock in comparing ceremonial claptrap even as I detest Trump’s sometime cavalier statements deprecating people I consider heroes. Actions speak much louder than words though.

You really want to see how the last admin treated their people and our military......watch the movie 13 Hours. That was sickening, they let an ambassador and 3 others get killed and did nothing, absolutely nothing. Screw them, and anything else they did.

Yes, Honda - 2T and I are internet friends. But, that does not mean we automatically support each other during discussions.

In general, 2T, I was merely referring to what I see as inherent partisanship demonstrated by our members here. And, I include myself in that assessment.
