    In the late 70's , early 80's Buck Owens owned a venue in town (as well as a radio station) with Merle Haggard and Roy use to join them on stage once in a while. I've seen him a few times.

    Was there any instrument he could not play? Super talented very humble man, the world lost a great person.

    My only memories of him was on Hee Haw and I loved to watch that as a youngster and I must admit as a young boy I was quite interested in those hot chicks on Hee Haw
