    Dump on Trump

My memory not being what it used to be , I have a question for all y’all with a better knowledge of history.

Can anyone give me a couple of examples where any ex-president slammed his replacement the way the obamas are ?.

Now I know that after some time has passed it has been known to happen. Jimmy being one example . But, never have I seen it seemingly starting as soon as the new President enters the office.

I see it as a number of causes...Democrats were waiting for the new President to fall flat on his face, especially considering his lack of experience in DC style politics...That didn't happen, and in fact he had a number of successes both domestic and foreign in spite of the stumbling blocks thrown in his path...They seized on their willing minions in the press to begin their slime-slinging campaign on him forgetting that he is accustomed to fighting in the mud given his swinish DNA...

They began their new campaign of suddenly remembered episodes of misbehavior and concocted stories of him or his appointees, thinking this would derail his agenda and force him into defensive mode...They overlooked the fact that he may be the most offensive President in history who took a page from Vince Lombardi's playbook, who probably took the same tactic from George Washington who said:
"Make them believe, that offensive operations, often times, is the surest, if not the only (in some cases) means of defence."
Washington, who is probably spinning in his grave over what the city that bears his name has degenerated into, likely got the idea from reading Sun Tzu, who wrote of the same philosophy in battle...Former Presidents, such as Obama and she-who-would-be-President, H. Clinton, cannot abide the idea of success rising from their failures, and have gone on the attack at full throttle, often to their own embarrassment...

Whether they will continue this direction until they burn out, or finally realize it's better to just wait until the political climate stabilizes before mounting a new campaign on what are sure to be some failings of Trump's own making remains to be seen...My guess is they'll stay on the attack hoping for a crack in the armor......Ben

The odd part is that as personally successful as he was as a politician, it does not translate into carrying his party along with him. He was notoriously pathetic in boosting fellow Democrats into office during his presidency as his party lost position steadily, and this election cycle his trail of campaigning is a trace of loss and ruin once again. He blathers on, but few are listening.

That about sums it up Ben, all politicians are worried now. The public has found out that being a politician requires no special skill and actually not following the broken system rules they all blindly follow, the Country actually thrives. Actually the world stage has sort of worked better, when everybody is not kissing the ass of the "anointed" ones who have bribed the regular politicians for decades to get favors. The only drawback is that all of the media continues to blast Trump, and then turn around and bitch about the hatred and rhetoric he spreads. It is them that have the problem, Trump just bites back after he gets attacked. I have no problem with that and I will lay a bet on anyone that cares to take it....if the media and pundits would just shut the hell up, he would go about his work and you would not hear him attacking anybody. The media starts a fight and then bitches when they get it thrown back at them, what did they expect would happen? Just Stupid.

Traditionally ex-Presidents have not spoken ill or criticized their replacements except for a couple of no class lowlifes. As far as I know Bush said nothing ill about Obama but he certainly has about President Trump.

Wonderfully stated my friend. Excellent and honest assessment.
