    RBG

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has fallen in her office and broken 3 ribs. As I can personally attest, that is a long term, painful event.

At 85 years old, could this event precipitate her retirement? Another Trump appointee could be in the offing...

The second time she has fallen and broken some ribs. I was watching the news on TV and they mentioned quite a few other times that she has been hurt, they added that through it all she has never missed a day of work. That includes surgery for two different cancers that she had/has. She's a tough old lady that's for sure!

It is a very painful experience, and I only cracked 2 of them....damn sure wasn't 85 either. Yes she should retire and Trump could appoint another good one.

The only way Trump will get another appointment is if Ruth Bader Ginsburg passes away. She will never resigned during his term. So for that reason I wish her a long life and would never hope somebody passes away for the purposes of political appointments.

i disagree with most every ruling she has given. That aside, I hope she stays as well as possible and heals without problems.

I would never wish her to pass away. I am only wondering if she might decide to retire and enjoy what time she has left. Of course, she might stay because being on the court is what she loves most.

I wish her the best that life has to offer.

As a small measure of the lunacy of the Left, take a gander at this article wherein numerous loons have offered to donate their ribs and/or organs to old crone —

No way she retires while Trump is President. Now if he happens to be reelected she may have no choice. I have felt sorry for her recently since she can barely hold her head up. I suspect if Clinton had been elected Ginsburg's resignation would have been on Clinton's desk within weeks after the election.

I bet you would be right. There is no way the Dems would let any of the female justices or any of theirs die right now.

Have you looked at what’s been holding that seat lately and the opinions bearing its name? It’s been dead for years.
