I suggest those assessing Trump’s relationship to “The Truth” look at his record in terms of history. I think that history will reveal a marked propensity for hyperbole, exaggeration, embellishment and not a bit of mistake through ignorance. His words will also be shown for a politician as a remarkably accurate forecast of what he in fact intends to do. For instance, you will find no evidence of gargantuan outright, knowing lies that you “will save $2500 per year if you adopt my healthcare plan and let my bureaucrats control your choices,” and such. Every politician must sell with puff-talk his/her issues, but hiding intentions is the true lie. Tell me where Trump has hidden his intentions? I posit that Trump is the most truthful politician laying out his intentions since Reagan. That’s important.

Better than going through thousands of examples that Trump-hating Lefties at the WaPo misconstrue and/or mischaracterize.

Obviously you failed to read closely---these numbers did not come from the Washington Post.

I am always entertained by the hard right's ability to avoid meaningful reflection simply by denying anything uncomfortable.

I won’t pay the WaPo to read anything that comes from them, so fill me in with a better source.
And I am always amused at the people who take the Left’s musings at face value.

I agree with everything you have stated Waco. While they lament, they have lost any ability to be anything other than filled with hate for the President. I feel sad for them.

I do not know if it makes any difference or not but several of the graphs sourced include Goldman-Sachs. Makes me wonder if the graph was produced strictly for public consumption to make things appear as they would like them to.

He's a politician, find an honest one that would be news, telling me he lied.

The one thing that all politicians do is lie or exaggerate, every single one of them. If you ask Trump a question you will get an answer. It might not be what you want to hear but you get one. I remember the media getting to question Obama, they would get maybe four questions in during an hour long session and he might get 4 answered because he always went off track and always in circles.

I do not give a flip what the MSM bases their opinions on, plenty of people out in the real world who do not get any news from the majors, and they are feeling just fine. The left coast news media has told so many lies and half truths that real America pays them no mind. Point one, the Kavanaugh hearings, the MSM could have refuted all of the lies that were told about the man, asked the hard questions and stopped attacking the man, but they didn't. They immediately started calling him a rapist and sexual predator, which by any means without any due process was a total lie. Point two, these same dirt rags made a big mess out of "Russian collusion" when they knew there was none.Absolutely nothing, but they could not sell their garbage that way.

Yep keep pushing that narrative and watch the blue wave disappear under another red tidal wave, people are tired of the lies the MSM keep spreading and tired of the constant attacks on Trump.

I do not believe that for one second. You can however tell when the media outlet is pushing an agenda, good stories sell themselves and do not need a reporter to push them. Bad or stories that are outright lies need to be pushed and spread to be believed. Maybe that is why many of the old time media outlets are scaling back or closing their doors. Normal people are not stupid, they do not march for silly activist inspired garbage and they no longer read or watch junk news items.

Instead of actual news, they have been replaced by bloggers found everywhere on the internet and the stories are the same thing the media is pushing. Instead of the news being factual and honest, it has jumped into the Jerry Springer mold of trash reporting meant to get the MTV crowd excited. When the polls got the last election so wrong, is showed just how far off their reporting was. Just for giggles i stumbled onto the election night reporting from all of the big networks that somebody compiled, it was hilarious to watch the pundits and reporters go into panic mode as the "Real" results came in. They had a total meltdown and for once actually started talking about how and why their Queen got unseated. Made my night.

Actually everyone cares, as has been shown by Trump sitting in the White House. What nobody cares about is the constant anti Trump barrage that has been going on since he unseated her thighness. Although the left thinks that people care, only their loony followers are the only ones watching, and even that is falling off.

Actually upsetting the libs is easy....all he has to do is speak, it does not matter to them if it is the truth or not, they are going to attack. Which by the way makes it so easy to make them into blathering idiots

Tx must be on the soap box today. Too much BS to refute.
