Were you worthless while a stoner before you broke the cycle? If you will notice, I refrained from saying none can shake the effects. But I will venture that many who have a compulsion for the drug, not unlike those compelled to drink alcohol or other drugs, are generally useless during their addiction. If that is too judgmental for you, then so be it. Drug dependence is a curse of mankind IMHO with plenty of evidence of its harsh results.

Weed is nearly as common as alcohol with various segments of society. Go to a Phish concert and the whole place is lit up with folks toking from young folks to grand pappies. The cats already out of the bag. Tax it, regulate it and move on.

I'm assuming they have a butt load of cash stashed in the buildings....

I was worthless as a drunk...I may not be much better now, but whatever I'm doing, I'm doing it sober...You can't alter reality by altering your perception of reality...All drugs including alcohol, opiates, marijuana - all of them have legitimate medical uses, none of which are "recreational"...

Drug abusers force the rest of society to carry a heavier load...Decriminalizing it forces society to pay for it as well...Saying that taxing its use will pay for it is a lie...Shattered lives can't be compensated for by tax revenue...I was there, I know......Ben

We bought nothing.. I was just curious since i had never been in a dispensary. I gave up the weed years ago and pretty much stick to LSD, Mushrooms, Heroin and Scotch now

The edibles and liquid pot surprised me.. I had never heard of THC sports drinks...

All good points Ben, but my point was to the issue that it is here, folks are going to use it and it ain't going away so might as well regulate and tax it.

I had one with ya Ben and it wasn't enough. Triguy, you, me, we all know when we quit. There is a distinct difference in the quality of life. There are people that can handle it I suppose, I'm not on of them.
