Illegal under Texas and federal laws. Texas does have a very narrow exemption for prescription use by a certain type of illness, but you must be able to jump through flaming hoops to qualify.

Thanks Mike for clarifying that point.

And as Tx can testify it maybe a product that can help a lot of people, but until Texas relaxes their medical/recreational laws on the subject it is an illegal product.

Mike, You are saying that the oil without the THC is still illegal? I was thinking about getting some for my 100-year-old mother to help her joint pains when rain clouds start getting close.

They ship it to all 50 States wannabe. In this case I would not worry about what the big pharma pushers say, get her some it really helps with joint pains. I doubt they will arrest an old woman for drug use. It is hemp oil, same plant that makes the marijuana blooms, but it is not made from them and contains 0 THC which is the active ingredient in making you high.

The CBD used in our creams, lotions and tincture products comes from cold pressed industrial hemp, legally grown and imported. Hemp is legal to “grow” in many nations including ours, but currently only in selective states in the USA. The HEMP is extracted using the most modern extraction processes available. Extremely complex and expensive equipment is used to extract the THC from the high HEMP extract. Thus, our HEMP extract has no THC. The high HEMP content oil is then imported legally into the USA. It is manufactured in our state of the art modern lab, here in the US. We follow all USA government standards in producing our tincture, cream and powdered product. The products are legal to own, sell or distribute in all 50 states without a medical card or permit.

My favorite pants are made with a cloth blend of hemp and tencel. Incredibly soft, yet durable. Tell me I am not wearing a felony!

My deceased daughter prior to her death had a very serious eating disorder and one drug prescribed for her here in Texas to induce appetite was derived from marijuana. It is said to be very effective, although one dose of it and she went into antiphlatic shock. That it was available tells me not all derivatives from the plant are outlawed even in Texas.

This LINK explains it pretty well. Remember, CBD cannot contain even a hint of THC and be legal in Texas. It is also illegal to grow Hemp in Texas.

Good link MIke. I have heard of some people that have brought in the oil for their "vape" cigs and got busted for it. The cream we used was certified to be 100% free of THC. Putting it on the sore spot did not make us high or intoxicated in any way, it just quit hurting.

My wife and I have now both been using CBD oil for a couple of months with what seems to be favorable results. We have tried both the oil, taken orally and capsules. The oil seems more effective.

There is no problem obtaining it in PA and this year the legislature has passed a law to make raising of hemp legal (with a state permit). The potential pitfall is that CBD oil is unregualted and as such the market place is a free for all. Concentrations are for the most part unknown and unverified, an issue in any event but this is not cheap. My wife just ordered about $400 worth.

My wife has been encouraged by her pain doctor to try medical marijuana, which is legal in PA but extremely tightly controlled. If she decides to try it she will have to be see another doctor, trained in evaluating potential patients,to obtain a state issued card.

Once she has the card she can make an appointment at the "store". We are lucky enough to have one of the few (this is all very new in PA) only 20 miles away. I could not even enter, only properly documented patients get through the door.

I want it to be legalized. It's stupid. Who cares everybody is smoking it anyway and the cops turn their head unless they have a load of it.

If you have ever known any stoners, then you know why people care, if you were paying any attention, and that’s before you count in where that gateway can lead.

We were in Vegas a few weeks ago and decided to check out a dispensary. I was very surprised by the level of security involved. Had to have our ID's swiped and armed guards everywhere. I was mostly surprised by the guards until I asked one why the presence. His simple reply was "It's a cash business".... I forgot the financial aspect can't be filtered through any banks.

I'm assuming they have a butt load of cash stashed in the buildings....
