Just remember people, politicians have caused every single one of the problems, not only in America, but in every Country around the world. Think about that for just a second. The press can control a politician by letting it slide that they can or will release something negative or nasty about them, if they do not get this or that. Other politicians use the media to derail their opponents or cause all sorts of problems for maybe some good press by having the heat put elsewhere.

Trump is a different animal, he does not play the game using their rules and they do not like it. Is it crappy, yep sure is, but this is what the politicians and media have made it into. DO not act so surprised and pretend that politics has always been perfect and respectful, if nothing else the chaos that the Kavanaugh hearings showed us, is that these political creatures care very little about respect and tradition. That was far more appalling to me than Trump giving the finger to some halfwit reporter who has an agenda to follow.

I think the various religions have caused more problems than most politicians even dream about.

Have to agree with you on that, but politics is either close to equal or exactly equal.

In a democracy our favored politicians are a reflection of us. As the old saying goes, “We get the leaders we deserve.”

As much as I am shown, which I think is the way it should be. We can disagree, but I do not resort to telling lies about the person I disagree with. You attack me, it gives me the right to attack back, pretty simple rules.

Very true, and then sometimes the bad guys with better firepower have to drop in and restore order.

Just think how WW2 might have gone if Churchill had been replaced with someone who was much milder say like Chamberlain, instead of Churchill replacing him? Would Hitler have taken England? What about Patten in the same war? Patten broke all the rules, drove Ike nuts, but he got results. The media hated him as well and the Germans were scared to death of him, so far as they focused on what Patten was doing instead of what everyone else was doing. Cost them the war, and Ike used him in that manner.

History has shown us that sometimes a raw jewel in the rough has to come in and do the dirty work to restore order as it should be.

Patton cost Germany the war?? You need to get out of this thread you don't have any feet left, with all due respect.

Not the entire war, they were focused on him way to much. You need to chill a bit too. damn you are hot and cold from day to day.
When Patton finally returned to action in France in command of Third Army in August 1944, he was subordinate to both Bradley and Montgomery. Yet to Patton, that was secondary. Destiny had beckoned him and he would soon become, as one German officer said, ‘the most feared general on all fronts.’

I just don't believe everything the right says just because they are the right. I also don't believe that the left is wrong all the time just because they are the left.
I like a lot of what Trump is doing but it doesn't change the fact that he is an embarrassment to the office of president. I'm also not tied to any particular doctrine, I try and look at all sides and have changed my mind on a number of things, I'm not wishy-washy just not convinced about anything, there are too many sides to every issue. So yes I can see where you are coming from, not picking on you any more than anybody else though.

    Well said Mike.

Would help if a lot more moved towards the center on dealing with problems.

Then he would be just like ALL of the other politicians, never standing for what they were voted in for. You don't like him. don't watch him. The boss is not there to make friends, he is there to make sure the machine runs. Our Govt has been broken for many decades, politicians promising all sorts of things and then "moving to the center" and nothing gets done. You people seem to have liked the friendly hand shakers and we see how that has turned out, hell in a hand basket type of results.

SO everyone bitches, pisses and moans about how bad things are and how they could be so much better, and when the person finally gets there who is making things work, fixing problems that have been kicked down the road for decades, and is not the usual friendly smiling type political character, you bitch that he is too mean. Well make up your f*cking mind, do you want it fixed or do you want a celebrity who is glamorized on all of the networks and nothing gets done as usual? Take the good with the bad as long as the end result is that things are fixed, otherwise you make your complaints out to be nothing but self gratification.

Look at how bad things were when the Dems were in charge of all 3 Houses, now with the Dems trying to gain steam they want to put the same old tired problem of the Pelosi leadership BACK in the SOH job. Are you nuts?
