I spent 22 years of my life living a mile from the Mexico border and Acuna Mexico, I do not need some reporter to tell me what to think. One little defining detail that we saw in the influx of scumbags invading Europe, they were mainly men. What is it with stupidity and common sense, are they like oil and water and never mix? Are ALL of the people having bad times in central america young men? Maybe that should be a red flag to look at.

There are a few women and children, and I will admit that they might have started out as needing some help, but Jeez they have passed many towns where some might make a new life and be safe from whatever bogeymen that were chasing them back home. Things do not add up, they never do, and the foolish people who take pity on them do not see the real plights that the weaker ones go through. The women and kids are terrorized and raped by the bad men, the cartels get money to make sure these people make the trip, they are not allowed to just walk free and screwup a business that the drug cartels are finding very profitable. If they let these folks through without charging them the "tax" of about 5 grand per head, they will lose face with the smugglers and coyotes who make a good living running drugs and slaves through their operation.

The fools do not get the real story, their rooting for these people to make it are putting them at a horrible risk, many will have unspeakable horrors dropped on them as the smugglers impose their will on them. THAT is what the refugees are not told, the death, rapes, beatings and all things terrible, that will await them on their trip. The media and the American people who think this is okay are ignorant to the real truth. Subjecting these people to that in the name of politics, is akin to aiding and abetting the nasty acts that are going to be done to these folks.

But by all means, keep tossing out stupid media stories, which paint rainbows and unicorns all over the place, but take solace in the fact that the horrors that most of these folks will endure, is exactly what they have been running from, or even worse, back home.

Fred, this thread was about the caravan of immigrants traveling to the US, nothing more. If you want to sidetrack everything because you lack a decent counter point, try starting a new thread on your disapproval of some tax issue.

I'm being played? Good, that means that line of I'm guessing mostly criminals is going to turn around and go home? Every one of those people on the field trip that is allowed in will send for at least five relatives I'm guessing.
I've been on the Mexicans side from the beginning, the legal ones. This caravan has no hint of being done properly or for the right reasons.

The warthogs are less than 10 min flight time from the boarder.... Unleash the hawg and kill them all....

Do you really think Trump is going to follow through and break out the military?

I say let them come, let them declare and then decline the request (other than women and children, they get the full process) and send MS13 home.

I wish it was that Simple Phil but it's just not. Once they get on our soil the federal courts have ruled that they have many rights and due process. It's just not that simple. In fact it's a man-made crisis

If MS13 members from El Salvador say they are “refugees” and set a toe on U.S. soil, then they get to stay until a few years down the road, and if they can be found and dragged to court, at which time their claim can be adjudicated. Rotsaruck with that one. Of course, if they murder or maim a few victims in the meantime and are caught, then maybe, if they are not in a sanctuary zone, they can be deported until they cross back.

Such is the calculus presently. Oh, any of their spawn dropped here are your fellow citizens. And double oh — another “March” is forming in El Salvador as we speak despite the fact that an estimated 1/3 of all living Salvadorans currently reside in the U.S. How many of those are members of El Salvador’s Chief export, MS13, is unknown but a lot.

One thing that gets me is, when a person is in a bad situation and could use some help, they do not normally act like you owe them something. These jackasses have said they are coming here and there is nothing we can do to stop them...they are just a bit arrogant for a group that needs some help. Who gave them the idea that America is the one and only place they can stop?

No I smell a really big organization effort going on here, this is not just a random bunch of people that suddenly decide to walk thousands of miles with no food, water, shelter or outside support from the weather or natural predators. And despite what they think, you just can not decide to back your stuff in a duffel bag and head out to your dreamland. There are laws and rules for entry and exit in a few other Countries along the way, including the place you are planning on living. This is a big exploitation of America and it needs to be stopped before this stupid game gets out of hand. WHen people no longer respect your laws, they will do what they want and the problem will be just like the one they are leaving their home for. We need to stand up and prevent our Country from becoming the ****hole they left.

How odd is it that we have American troops stationed all over the world protecting foreign borders from invasion....

But we have an issue protecting our own?

I don't think we need A-10's for this mission. A couple of Apaches should do just fine.

Tx you ever wonder if that big organization is some other country?

As for guarding the border I don't believe the government owns much land and if it doesn't own the land it can't place troops on it either.

"While the future path of a full-length border wall is unknown, in Texas, nearly the entire length of its international boundary is privately owned. The border follows the middle of the Rio Grande, meaning land parcels begin a varying distance north of that line. The analysis of property records showed almost 5,000 parcels of land sit within 500 feet of the mid-river border.

Seizing perhaps 5,000 parcels would be an effort exponentially larger effort than seizures to build border fence. After the 2006 Secure Fence Act, federal officials pursued about 300 condemnation cases that were brought against landowners, according to data compiled by the network. Some of those cases remain unresolved a decade later."

An in Arizona the Indian tribe owns a big share of the border and they aren't welcoming Feds in to build a wall dividing their land here and in Mexico.

Some come up with another great idea that makes sense. If not "Spread the Fear" angle it's the only thing you got working for the Republicans in this election.

Back in the 1800's the real Apaches would have target practice with this bunch.

Close off all of the traffic from Mexico and stage troops on the border right at the line not allowing a single one to cross.

If we allow this hoard in it will never stop and Fred and his kind are going to do nothing but sit around saying look what Trump did. Fred would have this country burn to the ground as long as the dems are not in power. I say send fred and his fellows down there to help burn the flag where he can hold his head high!! We need to keep them from setting foot on US soil with the national guard, A-10's, tear gas whatever. This is looking to be an invasion, not somebody looking for help.

Exactly! Not a one! We hold our line and let them holler all they want. We'll have dozens of reporters over there telling how horrible we are etc... Mexico let them through let Mexico feed them, I'll bet the hoards stop then.
