What you guys don't understand is that the government doesn't own the border. Short of condemnation of property which would take years to sort out in courts the idea of a wall is just that a puff of smoke. Government can't place troops on people's property.Your idea of defending the border is just that an idea and no matter how noble that is doesn't make any sense. So no matter how you try so raise the argument it does fly.
Doesn't matter if you on either side of the aisle it isn't going to happen no matter what the guy in the White wants to lie about.
Stopping people is one thing stopping drugs is another. One requires the people using drugs to stop and that's not happening and the other requires people to have a credential to enter. That the courts ruled that some excuses are legal it's not up to me or you to say they can't be used.
I would say here's a green card, SS number and a work permit if they come and tell them this is what is expected of them. Pay taxes and if you want to be eligible for any benefits they have to become American citizens.
As for the number coming up the road that's a drop in the bucket compared to the number of Vietnam refugees.
