It has been a long while since I updated my adventures in Rye Whiskeys. Not a lot has changed, I've pretty much stuck with the Templetons 6 year old for special occasions and Bulleit 95 for the everyday stuff. There have been a few other trials that don't deserve mention.

Today, I went to pick up a bottle of the Bulleit 95 and finally broke down and bought a bottle of the Bulleit 95 12 year old. I've put this off due to the cost but figured what the hell and bought a bottle. That was a big mistake because I am going to want the 12 year old on a regular basis. It is by far the smoothest whiskey of any sort I have ever tried. It is 92 proof and I would never guess it was even half that. Really good stuff!
