From the best I can tell my place will be on the "good" side of this one, but I am very concerned. I am looking at a 25 mile shift west and my place could get it bad. Nothing I can do.

Duck and run Honda.
The other day there was a pretty strong wind shear that it would have to go through which would probably have landfall with a minimal hurricane. Unfortunately, the wind shear has dissipated and they are talking about a possible Cat. 3 at landfall the last time I checked.
It also looks like it will dump a lot of the Gulf in the Carolinas. Just what they need!

Well today didn't yield any better news. It appears a monster major hurricane is going to make landfall on the Gulf Coast and in doing so is going to be absolutely devastating. Very sad I just hope nobody dies but inevitably some will

It is going to devastate an already devastated area. I have a lot of empathy for those who are about to take a second hit.

We lucked up on what we were suppose to get the first time but we could do without more. There are some areas North and Northwest though that are still heavy with water. I hope we all luck out like I did last time but it doesn't look like a good time for wishing.

I have a lot of friends in Columbus Georgia that are stocking up on the beer.....
It is expected to be a Cat 4 when it hits. This is going to be ugly.

Well I dodged it by 75 miles. I'm not going to brag because it's too sad what happened just east of me

It's weakening they say but I tell you what, It is one nasty storm. We still have power right now which is temporary at best from the looks of it outside. My poor dog does not want to go out and poop imagine that. I told her just to go anywhere she wanted and I'd clean it up, ya think she understood?
We are in flash flood warnings now but I think we'll make it through this one alright also.

At least it's a fast mover so the rain fall totals should be lower.
