“Recovered Memories” brought forth by therapy are notoriously susceptible to falsity and suggestion often manifesting in strong belief and/or obsession on the part of the person “recalling” them. This is especially so in childhood “memories.” Most courts will not even entertain these recollections, so fallacious and unreliable they have proven to be. That conclusion was hard earned with numerous long convictions based upon such only to find later they were bogus.

    Here’s a sample collected by Wikipedia —

Of course, we can only surmise these charges are of that kind and character because the principals offering the charges have refused to state fully how and where the memories came to light instead refusing even to release the only written indicia (letters to her pols) or be interviewed. Her husband is on record saying the incident only came to light during a session with Ford’s therapist leading me to the conclusion the memories were induced by the lowly regarded techniques which have often failed to bring forth reliable recollection.

Incidentally, a person suffering from a false recovered memory will exhibit the characteristics of someone telling the truth because to them it is the truth and the more they are questioned about it what is termed “hardened memory” is likely to occur.

This might just be one of the best post I've ever seen in this forum. Waco Joe you have really done it up here.

A new reveal shows that Ricki Seidman, a D’rat fixer noted for ramrodding both the borking of Bork when she was a Teddy aide, and for finding and processing Anita Hill, was in on the Christine Blasey Ford attack even before the woman’s letters to her rep & senator. This scam has been percolating long before it was propitiously sprung at the last second by its “reluctant” witness and her handlers, one of which acknowdged being the aforesaid, Hir Seidman.

To be honest, I really don't care about Kavanaugh one way or the other. But, if he is disqualified for this unconfirmed allegation, a whole hell of a lot of folks need to resign and go home. Probably almost everyone. Talk about an unemployment rate!

You sure can. I believe anyone deserves a fair second chance if they screwed up as a youth. They are minors for a reason.

Corey Booker is a prime example for the Dem side, he is still the "Spartacus of the Senate" last I heard. He did not need accusers, he published his own story in the news, written by himself. Ted Kennedy would be exhibit B, he in a drunken stupor missed a bridge and drove off into the water with a woman who was not his wife. He then left her there to drown and did not report the incident until the next morning. He served in the Senate for 50 years.

Would it be okay with you for some broad to attack your husband, son, father, son in law, etc, for something that was normal at the time, yet is suddenly bad 35 years later. All of the good times and good deeds your men have done in their lives are suddenly worthless? They are now considered the scourge of the earth and should be ridiculed for all the world to see? If you do, I feel sorry for you, nobody, man or woman should have to go through that. If it happened yesterday, by all means, call the cops and have the person hauled into court, but do not use it as a political ploy.

In fact the Dems are exploiting this woman for nothing more than their political games, they should be ashamed of themselves for what they are doing, all the while giving us the puppy eyes and saying how tragic this was. Bull****!

I see that Bill Clinton was elected as a Governor as well as a POTUS, even after he raped and molested many women, and those women did file charges against him. The Clintons paid one of the women 800 thousand dollars to go away and Hilliary, the friend of women, was totally nasty to the women that Bill raped and molested. She should shut her stupid mouth and go away, no words she can say are worth what she put those women through.
