FBI leaked to sway an election.

If having an outside Country is horrific trying to sway an election, it is even worse when the FBI does it. The very agency that should be held to the highest standards, shows how corrupt it has become. This is not how our justice system should operate, especially one guy who had major input into the Hilliary investigation as well as the Trump investigation.

    • Peter Strzok sent Lisa Page a text message about “media leak strategy” during a key point in the Trump-Russia probe.
    • Strzok sent the message just before The Washington Post published a bombshell story about the FBI obtaining surveillance warrants against Carter Page.
    • North Carolina Republican Rep. Mark Meadows says the messages raise “grave concerns” about an “apparent systemic culture of leaking” at the FBI and DOJ.

Newly released text messages show disgraced FBI official Peter Strzok asked to speak to former FBI lawyer Lisa Page about a “media leak strategy” during a crucial period of the Trump-Russia investigation in 2017.

The text messages were revealed Monday by North Carolina Republican Rep. Mark Meadows, a member of the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee.

“Our review of these new documents raises grave concerns regarding an apparent systemic culture of media leaking by high-ranking officials at the FBI and DOJ related to ongoing investigations,” Meadows wrote to U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in the letter, which was obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation and first reported by Sara Carter.

Meadows pointed to text messages Strzok sent to Page on April 10, 2017, and April 12, 2017.

In the first message, Strzok, who then served as deputy chief of the FBI’s counterintelligence division, wrote to Page that: “I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go.”

Strzok was at that time the lead investigator on the FBI’s probe into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. He joined the special counsel’s investigation after it was formed in May 2017. He was removed from the investigation in July 2017 after the discovery of anti-Trump text messages that he exchanged with Lisa Page. He was fired from the FBI on Aug. 10.

In one Aug. 8, 2016, message, Strzok told Page that President Donald Trump would never become president, because “We’ll stop it.”

Meadows says in his letter that an April 12, 2017, text message shows Strzok congratulating Page while referring to two damaging articles about former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Meadows wrote that “in the text, Strzok warns Page two articles are coming out, one which is ‘worse’ than the other about Lisa’s ‘namesake.'”
“Well done, Page,” Strzok wrote. It is unclear if he was referring to Lisa Page or Carter Page.

The text messages were included in a batch of records recently provided to Congress. The FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) were initially unable to recover messages that Strzok and Page exchanged from December 2016 to May 2017. The DOJ’s inspector general was ultimately able to find the messages.

Of course they did that's been clear to me for months. What I don't understand is that our neutered Attorney General and his Lackey Deputy don't have the balls to prosecute these miscreants

The email cited as evidence of a leak plot “to effect the election” quotes a date months after the election when the Carter Page story in the WaPo broke. The evidence against the DOJ/FBI/Dossier cabal is strong enough without falsely embellishing it.

The problem is yours, the miscreants have been outed for leaking phony crap to try to hurt Trump. Now many have been tossed unceremoniously out of government where they thrived and reports are that a grand jury is looking into their acts.

Try “Trump and Page colluded with Russians and need endless investigation because Hillary’s opposition researchers say they talked to unnamed Russians who sold them rumors they say they heard somewhere,” for starters.

In the law trade that is what is known as “crap” evidence.

You & the WaPo sucked it up like a sponge, right?

There are no “released FISA warrants,” and the bits and pieces offered show zero collusion on either subject, hence zero charges against either victim. However, they prove without question the Hillary Campaign worked closely with the Russians against its adversary.

And now we find out that Lisa Page interned under Clinton, anybody smell a rather large conflict of interest?
Ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page, whose Trump-bashing texts made it clear who she backed in the 2016 presidential election, refers in a newly revealed message to serving as an intern “under Clinton.” Page, who exchanged tens of thousands of texts with disgraced FBI official Peter Strzok, revealed the information in one message among a new batch exclusively obtained by Fox News.
“Get inspired and depressing reading that article about how Obama approached the mail room,” Page wrote Strzok on Jan. 19, 2017 - the last day of the Obama administration. “Needless to say, it was very different when I interned there under Clinton.”
The article they were discussing was a Jan. 17, 2017 story in the New York Times Magazine entitled “To Obama With Love, and Hate, and Desperation,” which described eight years of mail that poured through the mailroom.
In the text message exchange, Strzok tried to engage Page in a discussion about her time in the internship.
“How was it different?” he replied.
“Will have to talk in person," answered Page. "It’s hard to describe. More of a rote have to respond to the mail exercise.”
It was not clear who exactly Page interned for or what she did. Page, 39, attended American University in Washington in the late 1990s, studying public affairs and earning her bachelor's degree in 2000.
The official presidential archives for the Clinton administration could not confirm that Page interned at the White House, telling Fox News they typically keep records on full-time White House staff only.
