Pew Reseach Creates New Categories Of American Religious Beliefs
Rather than specify populations in specific religions and sects, Pew has attempted to divide adherents into 7 categories sharing similar belief sets and showing their percentages in the general population. Pew also breaks down each of the 7 categories into constituent sub religions and sects.
