    But I am ready for some football I'm ready for distraction I'm ready for something that I really enjoy I'm ready for college football this weekend Ready set go I'm ready

    It will be interesting to see how it goes. I think the expectations are too high for his first season, but he did inherit a lot of good talent.

    When the Aggies abandoned their roots and changed conferences, they became Dead-To-Me.
    I have many relatives as graduates of A&M and two grandsons there now, but going for the bucks and turning their backs on the state is inexcusable. I hope they continue their long history of football ineptitude and disgrace.

    Other than that rant, I love the season when mesomorphs run into each other at ramming speed for our pleasure.

    Is that how you felt when Arkansas, tu and Texas A&M left the SW Conference for a bigger platform, the Big 12? That was pretty much the same reason A&M left the Big 12 for the SEC. Bigger platform, more national exposure, better recruiting and yes, more money.
