I would hasten to point out the articles this week do not attribute the “discovery” of a trail of a Chinese Trojan Horse program left in Hillary’s computer to FBI computer experts, but to those in a completely different bureaucracy, the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG), and investigator Frank Rucker and attorney Janette McMillan specifically who are said to have repeatedly notified higher-ups in the FBI of that discovery only to have them ignore it. If true, that revelation is a gross indictment of the FBI. I would expect them to stonewall this charge as they have done many other charges and demands for information and papers.
Observers will note that Hillary directed her people to destroy her devices and data such that the FBI could not access or test it, when they became active in the case in 2016, and the FBI could justifiably then say they have no evidence. The articles concerning the ICIG revelations indicate they did have prior access in 2015 to the devices and data to test before destruction and concealment, which yielded their conclusions of Chinese penetration. Both bureaus could be correct in their assertions. But, even if that be the case, it would not justify the FBI ignoring the ICIG’s warning. Note, the FBI did not say there was no penetration, only that they had no evidence of one, but of course they would have no evidence because Hillary had any possible evidence destroyed before the FBI, dragging their heels all the way, looked into the matter.
As of now, the story remains unsubstantiated and only time and some hearings with ICIG personnel will tell.

Sadly, FBI press denials have come to mean zip.
