    Another swamp rat busted

    Well the rats are being washed to shore one by one. This dirt bag and his wife both need to spend a little time in a place where you do not have to worry about room service or health care.
    Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., and his wife, Margaret, were indicted on charges of illegally converting $250,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses and filing false records, prosecutors announced Tuesday.


    In response, House Speaker Paul Ryan said Tuesday evening that he would remove the congressman from all committee assignments for the time being, calling the charges against Hunter “deeply serious.”


    Among the allegations named in the 48-page indictment included instances between 2009 and 2016 when Hunter and his wife used campaign funds to pay for family vacations to Italy and Hawaii, school tuition, dental work, and even domestic and international travel for almost a dozen relatives, according to a press release from the Southern District of California’s U.S. Attorney’s Office.

    you must have missed the talking points today Tx. maybe because the unindicted co conspirator is too busy with his own campaign finance mess to tweet it out. Let me help you, this is a witch hunt meant to hand the seat to dems. 2 of the prosecutors were seen at a hillary rally... and dont forget the ever popular, everyone does it

    While purely coincidental, both the first and now second Congressmen to declare support for Trump are now disgraced in the same one two order. Number one was Chris Collins form NY. who was charged earlier this month for insider trading.

    The politicization of the police and the law reached a new low in California Wednesday when GOP Rep. Duncan Hunter told ABC News affiliate KGTV that the charges against him were the product of "the Democrats' arm of law enforcement."

    Hunter blamed "modern politics" for the grand jury indictment that charged him with using more than $250,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses and with falsifying financial records.

    He accused "law enforcement" of having "a political agenda," and extended his conspiracy theory to the White House, too, adding that a one-sided government was out to get the president as well.

    In some ways, the questions for Hunter are the same as those for the president: Is the law just different for him, or can he prove his innocence?

    Attempting to sidestep and ignore the details prosecutors laid out about his lavish spending probably won't cut it.

    I would expect ABC to set their standard of “proving his innocence” and its corollary, “an allegation is good enough.”
    Somebody on their Editorial Board (if they even have one) needs some education on the Constitution.

    These scum bags have been doing this stuff for so long they think,they are allowed to, above the law. They need to be locked up givin a bail and a court date just like they would do to,any one of us.
