Throw all of them in prison for their crimes. Collins was already under investigation for holding the job on the board to begin with, I believe by the ethics committee. The only reason he did not sell his stock was because of that. Collins, his son and father in law to be, all unloaded their stock, and that is just what is known at this time. I hear the son actually informed 7 people that the drug failed its testing, and if those also sold their stock, I hope they share the same jail cell as the others.
I made the reference to point out who he is and that he specifically calls for non transparency in regards to pols financials

On or about June 22, 2017, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Innate’s CEO sent an email describing the Drug Trial results to the company’s board of directors, including CHRISTOPHER COLLINS. The email explained to Innate’s board of directors for the first time that the Drug Trial had been a failure. The email began, in part, “I have bad news to report,” and continued to explain that “the top line analysis of the ‘intent to treat’ patient population (ie every subject who was successfully enrolled in the study) would pretty clearly indicate[s] ‘clinical failure.’” The email continued, “Top-line 12-month data . . . show no clinically meaningful or statistically significant differences in [outcomes] between MIS416 and placebo,” and concluded by stating, “No doubt we will want to consider this extremely bad news. . . .”

At the time CHRISTOPHER COLLINS received this email, he was attending the Congressional Picnic at the White House. At 7:10 p.m., CHRISTOPHER COLLINS replied to the email, stating, in part, “Wow. Makes no sense. How are these results even possible???” After responding to the Innate CEO’s email, CHRISTOPHER COLLINS called his son, CAMERON COLLINS. They traded six missed calls between 7:11 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.. At 7:16 p.m., CHRISTOPHER COLLINS and CAMERON COLLINS spoke for more than six minutes. During that six-minute phone call, CHRISTOPHER COLLINS told CAMERON COLLINS, in sum and substance, that MIS416 had failed the Drug Trial.

CHRISTOPHER COLLINS did not trade himself, and his Innate stock ultimately declined by millions of dollars in value when the Drug Trial results were made public on June 26, 2017. As CHRISTOPHER COLLINS well knew, however, he was virtually precluded from trading his own shares for practical and technical reasons. For example, CHRISTOPHER COLLINS was already under investigation by the Office of Congressional Ethics (“OCE”) in connection with his holdings in, and promotion of, Innate. Indeed, he had been interviewed by OCE personnel on or about June 5, 2017, just 17 days earlier. Accordingly, he did not trade his own stock and instead tipped CAMERON COLLINS.

No you made the last snippet as a middle finger salute to a guy you hate, and it had nothing at all to do with your original post, which if you look.....we all agree that Collins is a lowlife scumbag and should be ushered out the door. You win.

    From this morning's WSJ:

WASHINGTON—Republican Rep. Chris Collins of New York said Saturday he is suspending his re-election campaign amid insider-trading allegations that have derailed what had been viewed as a clear path to another term.

“I have decided that it is in the best interests of the constituents of NY-27, the Republican Party and President Trump’s agenda for me to suspend my campaign for re-election to Congress,” Mr. Collins said in a statement on his official Twitter page.

He plans to fill out the remaining few months of his term to ensure his district maintains its vote in the House, the statement said

I tried to find that answer but came away more confused than when I knew nothing

Seems only career politicians could figure that out.

He can't remove himself from the ballot to allow someone else to be nominated---but he could resign to take another appointed office and that would clear the ballot.

    Who knows?

Does this serve to illustrate that politicians can and do profit by proxy by shoving cushy deals to their progeny and that that is corruption?

Do you think there might be just a tad of that in a Vice President protecting his incompetent druggie son’s million$ nothing job in Ukraine using our $1.2B? Yet, looking into the scam is somehow an act worthy of impeachment of the investigator!
