You missed the real point, which was that we, the U.S., are protecting a welching Germany at the same time Germany is signing deals putting them under the control of the country (Russia) we are protecting them from! Kelly’s discomfort from his boss throwing it in their face is irrelevant, which I would expect MSNBC to miss, but not you.

Why is the media peeing on themselves over Trump calling out Germany, yet are pissed off that he did not piss on Russia? He actually has, they just choose to ignore it.

Just off the top of my head—
Trump sent real offensive weaponry to Ukraine...and Belarus, I think.
He bombed and killed the crap out of a couple hundred Russians in Syria when they crossed the line.
He deported a passel of Russian diplomats and close two of their diplomatic outposts in response to poisoning in GB.
He imposed more stringent economic sanctions on Russia than Congress authorized.
He called out publicly Germany for buying Russian gas and asked them to buy American gas. He has done everything Obama hated to boost American oil & gas production. This is where Russia lives and breathes. Remember, “Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country.” Why would Trump hit them where it hurts if he is in their pocket.
These are just what pops into my mind. I’m sure there are more.
