I was being sarcastic. I'd be wary of it.

Really? Terrorists, dissidents and lone-wolf types are going to go to a school, government building or an airport, set up shop, 3-D print a weapon and attack? With a single shot weapon? Really?
That is the point that the media frenzy fails to report, these "guns" are single shot....and I would suspect single use. From the looks of it, it is about twice the size of a regular pistol and has a 2" barrel, probably good to hit something 8 foot away. I would not trust the plastic gun as far as I could throw it. I will just stick to my XDM and its metal components.

This whole "ghost gun" fiasco is nothing more than a farce, used to attack gun owners again.

When the technology and availability of the printers & materials reaches a certain degree of maturity in a few years, I suspect the market for it will be more centered in places such as the cartels in Mexico or other countries which tightly control access to firearms.

Washington State Federal low court judge puts nationwide stay on release of free 3D gun plans. Gun haters rejoice. Inventor thumbs his nose and announces he will “sell” the plans for donations of what the “buyer” thinks appropriate.

With the removal of Cody Wilson as a moving force in the 3D gun making movement, that movement has bolted forward by leaps & bounds underground. The advocates are swapping designs and plans, while authorities are trying to catch up. If you are interested and capable this article will get you keyed up —

Be alerted this article from the UK is schizophrenic by first giving details on how to access the networks and then blathering about the dangers of Americans with guns. It’s Wired after all, and those guys are special kinds of nuts I enjoy reading.

Its gun control At the end of the day only the citizens will lose the right to this ability. The government and its agents in the public and private sector will sieze the power. I find it ironic that we use mexican criminals as the example of bad guys who need this technology. We are f@#*'d.

Me too. I keep voting for freedom but I'm outnumbered by people who vote for a living. They surrender their freedom for "the common good". Look at how our poiticians turn the machine of government against each other. We should not trust any of them with more power.

I've read to many fulltimer posts I guess.

! The only reason I'm for any kind of gun laws is because there are a slew of idiot loners out there that are to stupid to make a gun, ever! and to scared to steal one, all they do is talk. Remove all the laws and we'll have copy cat killers or want-a-be bad guys with guns. As much as I hate government there is a reason for laws and police you let anybody at any age have a gun you'll have chaos.
