Flynn gets a new job in the Swamp

    I kid you not

Flynn was named as the director of global strategy for a new Washington lobbying firm, Stonington Global, run by Nick Muzin and Joseph Allaham.

The partnership's website says that Flynn "will direct the firm’s business development and provide strategic consulting on international military and peacekeeping activities."

I'm glad as he was treated badly from the investigation trying to get Trump.

Flynn served his country with great dignity. He got caught up in a political Whirlwind and made bad decisions. He has paid a heavy price. I wish him well in his future endeavors

...or maybe he doesn't have a new job

    From today's WSJ:
Hours after a new lobbying firm aimed at domestic and global clients announced it was partnering with former national security adviser Mike Flynn, attorneys for the embattled Mr. Flynn said the deal was off and the notice had been released as a result of a “misunderstanding” among the participants in Stonington Global LLC.

“General Flynn has not joined Stonington and did not personally issue any public statement,” Mr. Flynn’s attorneys Robert Kelner and Stephen Anthony said in a statement Tuesday. “He was aware that a statement was being drafted, but he did not intend that it be issued at this time.”

I don’t know what to make of Gen. Michael Flynn. I’ve never been able to track down exactly just what he was convicted of misleading the FBI about. McCabe and Comey verified the FBI thought he leveled with them.

I have always suspected that charge was merely a rouse for other possibly more serious ones of not registering as a lobbyist for Turkey, which reportedly paid him and maybe his son hundreds of thousands of dollars to do some intervening with our government. It all remains a mystery to the point that he has still not been sentenced. That Obama and his cronies despised him is something to be said in his favor though.

That is probably the reason he was made a target by the Mueller bunch. Mueller was corrupt while he was in charge of the FBI way back when.

One of the most odd facts of this goat rope is that Trump had Mueller to the White House for an interview for the FBI director’s job and rejected him, but the very next day Mueller & Comey’s good buddy, Rosenstein, hired him to be the Special Counsel to dog the President, his boss.

Peter Strzok is still a paid employee of the FBI, but they jerked his clearance so what he actually does is anybody’s guess.
