Big town excitment
I came home last night---winding down for vacation next week at the cottage.
As you will see in the attached link this is a very rural area.
I am continually confronted with people, when they find out where I work, who react to the supposed danger---something I am not unaware of but also don't worry about. Even in the Bronx I have no fear---but I do have situational awareness.
Now--back to home---for months we have had an escalating series of bombings---both in size and frequency. This has been in a relatively small area and increasingly people have become concerned. This isn't the Bronx--and not something we deal with!
Well---today the FBI and PA State Police have moved in---in a big way. They have been setting off controlled blasts since this morning. I just went past there on the way back from the bank and they are still at it--exactly as you see in the video.
The building where all the activity is centered is a strange looking building and although I go past there at least twice a week I seldom see any activity--although I can tell that there is some because things get moved around.
The building is supposed to be some kind of small chemical plant---in a residential area---but I have no idea what it is the guy was allegedly making. I guess we are going to find out!
