Does it not seem just a bit off, that after several months and a private meeting in the whistleblowers home with a news media, that all of a sudden the house gets raided? I am sorry, it just smells fishy. Let the man speak in front of a Congressional meeting. I also find it hard to believe just about anything coming out of the public officials in Cali.

A sposkeman that thinks a public warning by the mayor of a city for illegals of an ICE roundup would not have any negative impact on the roundup because of prior expectations should have found a new job because he obviously was not qualified for the one he had.
Despite his poor opinions, he should not be prevented from stating them.

So this mook’s opinion makes his superiors’ a lie somehow? He was hired to express his department’s opinion, not his own. He was a mouthpiece, not a decision maker. He did the right thing quitting.
The only thing I am concerned about is the Gestapo showing up to shut him up, which is not as bad as the mayor warning the perps of a raid.

Dave, To me, the 800 figure may have been grabbed from the air, BUT, it also may be correct. How can anyone put a number to people that you DID NOT manage to get hold of. It could have been 11 for all we know. I Would [ assume ] that they had some indication of the numbers they were looking for prior to the raids and with the Mayors notice many [ who knows how many ] took off and were not caught.
A lie ?. Possibly an exaggeration. It would not be the first time a politician stretched the truth a wee bit.

It is counterintuitive to conclude a mayor warning illegals of an ICE raid would have no effect on illegals dodging the raid. At the point Mr. Schwab concluded the above, I stopped listening.
