The United States Supreme Court today ruled that Trump's travel ban is constitutional and struck down all of the lower court rulings to the contrary. I hesitate to call it Trump's travel ban because it's actually according to the opinion well within the authority of the president to make these decisions. While it's obvious that the president will count this as a complete Vindication of his ideas if you read the opinion closely you will see that it is more a legal finding of the presidents nearly absolute authority to determine who enters the country and the authority to make sure the country is secure. Actually if you ask me I think the Supreme Court was pissed off at these lower courts especially the district courts
entering Nationwide injunctions. I think the Supreme Court was offended that such a lower-court could attempt to completely affect national law. I'm not a constitutional scholar but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
