BTW, might I remind you that this thread began with you posting a fake claim about the media.

The bones of one hundred dead Americans are being used as a cover. Improvement to Nuke facilities are being carried out as we type.

Trump better start to pay attention to those who are in a position to know or he will be classified as just another gullible schmuck.

During this month's summit with North Korea, Trump said Kim agreed to return U.S. war remains. The Associated Press reported earlier this week that the U.S. military command in South Korea is preparing to receive the remains of an unknown number of soldiers from North Korea.

U.S. military officials said they moved 100 coffins to the Demilitarized Zone earlier on Saturday to prepare for North Korea’s return of the remains, CNN reported.

As the U.S. military moved 100 wooden coffins to the border between North and South Korea in preparation last week, Trump told a rally in Minnesota: “We got back our great fallen heroes, the remains, in fact today already 200 have been sent back.”

Speaking to the Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday, Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo did not confirm the president’s comments, when Senator Cynthia Shaheen raised the issue of the Korean War dead. Shaheen asked on behalf of charity workers who have dedicated years to repatriating the remains of U.S. soldiers missing in action.

“I am optimistic that we will begin to have two opportunities: One is to receive some remains in the not-too-distant future, but then there is a great deal of work with companies like the one you described, nonprofits,” Pompeo said. Asked if this meant that the U.S. had in fact not yet received the remains, Pompeo confirmed that was correct. “We have not yet physically received them,” he said.

More to this fake news claim which started this thread; from today's WSJ:

Another potential stumbling block is the repatriation of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War.

Mr. Trump told a rally in Minnesota on June 21 that the transfer of more than 200 sets of remains had already taken place, as per the summit agreement. But weeks later, Defense Department officials were still waiting for the promised remains at the border with empty coffins and no explanation for the delay.

When asked about the remains on Saturday, Mr. Pompeo demurred on a timeline for the repatriation, saying the Defense Department would meet the North Koreans for a discussion about the process on July 12.

“The repatriation of remains will take place at the border and that process will begin to develop over the days that follow,” he said.
As a service to those who insist on getting their news exclusively from the fake news sources on the rabid right I will continue to post truthful updates from reputable media sources as they become available.

Old news is no news, Dave. I suggest you read the thread before posting in it.

Why? Pompeo's visit is the latest update on the topic and further proof that Trump's claim hasn't even recently become a reality...still.

It is very curious that Trump’s enemies relish any hint of failure even to the point of it being bad for the country and thus themselves. An emotion of such depth such as that kind of all-consuming hatred is hard to find and should be observed as a phenomenon worthy of study.

It is doubly curious that Trump's cult like supporters ignore/deny any proof of his ingrained dishonesty and maintain none of which is bad for the country and thus themselves. A denial of reality of such depth seems all consuming and bars any sense of reasonableness and should be observed as a phenomenon worthy of study.

On a more serious note----this has absolutely nothing to do with anyone relishing a failure on Trump's part and to claim otherwise is absurd.

It has everything to do with an outright lie made by Trump that remains of our service men had been returned by the NKs-----which was a lie when made and remains a lie.

Then to add to the stupidity this thread began by faulting the news media for not reporting on Trump's fake news and giving him credit for his lie. Imagine that

It is a measure of how FU'd the rabid right is.
