Because the cohort is largely under the table working on fake ID’s, it is difficult to measure the considerable work they perform that is a huge benefit. Just try to build a house in my part of the country without them. Restaurants are very dependent, not to mention farm work.
Those working on fake ID's are paying SS (into someones account) and Income tax----ever seen a number for that?
