    Calif Firearms Laws....My Head Hurts

For those that live in Calif....is there a web site or other source of current correct laws and what firearms can be transported into/thru the state without breaking any state laws.

I thought the East cost was confusing, but woza...

I've managed to semi figure out handguns...I can have a G26 with 10rd magazines, or revolver..not more than 10rds in a magazine....and carry them concealed legally in Calif.

However, long rifles, shotguns and especially AR15's have me scratching my head.

Does the Firearms Owners' Protection Act of 1986 cover Calif for those of us tourists, traveling thru with a broken down AR15 pistol and a couple 3 20rd mags of ammo. Not much, all locked up while traveling and weapon separated from ammo....

Can one have a G19 locked up, no ammo, 3 "hi cap" mags also locked up unloaded legally while crossing the state & staying for a week or 10 days, or is this a no no.

Just one of the many reasons I will never set foot in California until the people living there come to their senses.

It’s an incredible place suffering from an excess of bounty and the people that has drawn.

No one here knows what there doing. My town is going in circles trying to make a pot law that's silly because you can buy it on any corner cheaper than the stores.

who didn't see that coming. We are going to grow weed and pay the growers a good minimum wage, then tax it so the govt makes a piece of the action, and then find out it is cheaper to buy it from Tyrone and Jose on the corner.

According to my parents, the locals in Mendocino County are complaining that there's no money in it any more.

Heya Rob, yep the Mexican cartels pay little to no overhead and the taxes in Cali are probably eating into the local growers profits.

supply and demand. Now that you can legally buy it and there is a large supply, growers can no longer demand $500 or more per ounce. Back in the 70s it was $10 an ounce...the good old days

    Greetings!

Worse... Mexican stuff doesn't even register any more. There's so many growing in Kali, they have to ship (smuggle) it out of state to make a profit.
