    Experimental Tri Tip......

    This hunk of seasoned meat will be introduced bright and early to Mr Traeger and smoked low and slow to see how it turns out, it's the 1st tri tip I've played with....

    Tri Tips are superb cuts of beef. I made one in my Instapot in pressure cook mode, and it was scrumptious, plus you get all that great gravy you miss smoking one. Not saying smoking isn’t great too.

    Seems somewhere the meat thermomater was off a tad....was on the smoker 5 hours and read 124, after sitting over 30 min cut into it....and it made rare look cooked....so it was sliced and back on the grill till nicely cooked, now we have taco meat cor tomorrow

    I want beef around about 130-135°F for medium rare.
