Cleared out a homeless camp on a friends property today

There were 5 adults in the homeless camp on my friends property when we arrived. They had ignored the notices to vacate and they had cut the fences and torn down the private property signs again. 4 complied with no issues but one started to get an attitude and show aggression until he noticed that certain legally registered and possessed items were present on the hip which changed his mind. We firmly told them to pack up their stuff and leave or be arrested for trespass.

First pic is how it looked when we arrived, the second is all the crap that was left behind. 4 loads to the dump. I would guess that many different groups have been here over time, based on the stuff we found.

tomorrow the tractor guys will come in and disc the field to fire safe the property per local code( they will not come if the homeless are there for their own safety).

What are the chances the squatters will be back???

Been talking to officer who is stationed in the Sac area....wow, had no idea how bad the homeless problem is out there, it makes Denver's look like a kindergarten.

They have taken over malls, hotels, all kids of tourist areas, it's unreal from how bad it's gotten since our last visit.....

But it will all be worth it once I step into the doorway of El Pollo Loco

they will be back soon enough but the discing guy is going to do really deep furrows an remove all cover so that there is no place for them to hide. I think this group will not be back as we took photos and we were armed. My buddy is a retired Sheriff/ Coroner of a neighboring county and was quite blunt with them. I was there as his backup.

Every year my town has a volunteer group go out and clean up. The garbage company supply's many big bins that get filled.

Your state has the most generous welfare system in the country. “Build it and they will come” to enjoy it. When you subsidize sloth do not be surprised to find it grows.
